Bellator Fighting Championships announced today the four quarterfinal match ups for their upcoming season five middleweight tournament – which kicks off on September 17th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and airs live on MTV2.
Returning to action is season-two tournament champion Alexander “Storm” Shlemenko (39-7), who will face the notable Croatian striker and DREAM veteran Zelg Galesic (10-5), while season-two finalist Bryan Baker (15-2) will square off against season-one finalist Jared Hess (11-2).

I come back home from a quick dip in a pool that I don’t own nor have any right to swim in only to see that some dude from the Underground posted an apparently “leaked” video of some UFC Undisputed 3 gameplay — featuring UFC 135 headliners Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Jon “Bones” Jones. No rest for the weary.
Just a shade over a week since his suspension was lifted, UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen has resumed his verbal tirade, this time taking it to his upcoming UFC 136 opponent Lyoto Machida. Sonnen, who will venture back up to the light-heavyweight division for the October 8th fight, has proclaimed that Machida is simply a “tune up” fight for him as he transitions down to the middleweight division for a second crack at reigning kingpin Anderson Silva.
